Casting as easy as wax. The power of SLA 3D printing meets effortless casting.

DW 029MKIII / HR

High resolution 3D printer for a fully digital innovative workflow

The third generation of the iconic, best-selling DigitalWax 029

DW 029MKIII is the first 3D printer in DWS born with the new vision of sustainable new product development:

  • -98% waste
  • +30% surface quality
  • +10% productivity

Designed for professionals, the DW 029MKIII delivers outstanding performance for rapid prototyping and high-precision part production, with a build volume of (x)170 x (y)170 x (z)200 mm.

Radical Simplified UX

Simplified mechanics and assembly, user-friendly design with front-loading tank insertion, and quick, easy platform attachment for enhanced usability.

Automatic Z-axis zero setting

Once the platform is aligned initially, the calibration is maintained for all following prints, allowing for consistent accuracy without repeated adjustments. Manual zero setting is also possible

Patented heating system (HTT)

The under-tank heating system has been specifically designed to make the temperature more uniform, enhancing the performance of the latest generation of high-viscosity materials consistently throughout the metal tank.

New more durable tank system with interchangeable film.

Possibility to achieve high cross sections and to use new advanced functional resins (Invicta Digital PA, Therma DM570). Compared to previous systems, only the film at the base needs to be replaced instead of the entire tank, significantly reducing environmental impact.

Unmatched Precision for Specialized Applications

Designed to meet the most demanding requirements, the DW 029MKIII delivers tolerances down to 0.05 mm, making it perfect for:
Precision Jewelry: ultra-fine detailing with a minimum thickness of 0.10 mm on castable materials
Eyewear manufacturing: accurate 3D printing of functional components
Precision Mechanics: faithful reproduction of micro-features with centesimal tolerances
Mold Production: creation of undercuts and complex geometries that are difficult to achieve with traditional methods

Available in Two Versions

Choose the resolution that best fits your production needs:

  • HR version: 20 μm resolution
  • Standard version: 40 μm resolution

Why Choose the DW 029MKIII

  • Ultra-high resolution
  • Centesimal precision
  • Industrial-grade reliability
  • Streamlined user interface
  • Ideal for jewelry, eyewear, mechanics, and mold manufacturing

Optional Add-ons Available On Demand

XCluster

The XCluster module is an advanced feature of NAUTA+ (available under a specific license) that enables the creation of patented ‘casting trees’ using compatible castable materials in the investment casting process.

XCluster Chain

The XCluster Chain module for NAUTA+ allows the generation of chains starting from the geometry of the links and the corresponding casting trees, enabling fast and precise production.
