The advanced modules for Nauta+, available under a specific license, are designed to automate the traditional production workflow, optimize part fabrication through 3D printing, and assist the user in designing the build plate layout.

The advanced modules include:
Xcluster, which enables the creation of patented “casting trees” along with their castable materials, for use in the investment casting process.
Xcluster Chain, which allows the generation of chains starting from the geometry of the links and their respective casting trees, enabling fast and precise production.

This module enables high efficiency in the metal part production process by creating casting trees in castable materials through 3D printing, using a patented structure designed to hold a large number of objects while ensuring a shape that supports high casting quality.

Thanks to the parametric nature of Nauta+, dimensions, number of objects, shape, sprue channel diameter, and much more can be modified in real time, allowing for countless configuration options in just a few moments. It is also possible to create a casting tree composed of geometries that are all different from one another.

The dimensional accuracy of DWS 3D printers allows for the creation of interlinked objects, eliminating the need for post-production welding.

Similar to the XCluster plugin, this module generates a patented structure designed to accommodate a high number of links.
It also enables the generation of lightweight casting trees with hollow interiors, allowing for optimization of the precious metal used during casting by managing the weight of the final object.
